Our Story

Our story began in 1984, when Megan and Dianne opened the doors with a shared dream and a passion for beautiful things. Together, they built a space that celebrates charm, craftsmanship, and thoughtful living.

At The Jacaranda Tree, you’ll find everything from home décor and bath products to greeting cards, linens, and accessories — the perfect spot to find a hostess gift or something just for you. We add personality to your home.

We feature gorgeous, one-of-a-kind art and furniture you won’t find anywhere else. Our linens are imported from around the world, including timeless pieces from France. Our tableware also hails from France, bringing a touch of European elegance to any table.

Our vintage collection is carefully curated to include only the most unique and meaningful finds — each item telling a story, each piece holding a history. It’s that sense of discovery that makes browsing here feel like a treasure hunt.

The store itself is filled with character — the original creaky floors, the hum of New Classical FM (never changed its station), and the fragrances of our stunning French diffusers. We like to think Megan (our nana) still watches over us, making sure things are done right. After all, she ran a tight ship, and our mom has carried forward the legacy she and Megan began.

For decades, we’ve had the privilege of seeing generations walk through our doors — grandparents, parents, and now children — all finding pieces to make their houses feel like home.
