The Pink Bird

Edward Lear, a celebrated 19th century poet, author and painter, created these whimsical bird drawings in fantastical colours to teach a patron's children their colours. Maybe being the youngest of 21 children gave him his quirky sensibility. What fun! Framed in softly mottled silver profiles.
